Twenty-four peat-free plugs of heirloom Genovese basil, sown in our glasshouse and hardened off for windowsill or courtyard planting.
Sown from open-pollinated Genovese stock and grown on in peat-free coir, each plug carries two true leaf pairs and an established root ball. Trays are dispatched in spring once night temperatures hold above 10 °C, ready to plant out or pot on into a terracotta vessel.
